Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Vulcan Collectibles’ services, including in-store purchases, online transactions, submissions, and participation in events. By accessing our website, placing an order, or using any of our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

Vulcan Collectibles provides products and services related to trading cards and collectibles, including but not limited to:

  • Retail sales (in-store and online)
  • Trading and consignment services
  • Third-party grading submissions (including PSA)
  • Community events, trade nights, and promotions

2. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD)
  • Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout
  • Accepted payment methods include cash, debit, credit, and e-transfer (where available)
  • Prices, fees, and availability are subject to change at any time without notice

3. Product Condition & Grading

All product conditions are assessed using industry-standard terminology (e.g., NM, LP, MP, HP, DMG) based on our reasonable judgment.

  • Condition assessments are subjective and may vary between buyers or grading companies
  • Disagreements regarding condition do not qualify for refunds or exchanges
  • Graded cards (PSA, BGS, CGC, etc.) are sold as-is and are final sale

4. Sales Policy

All sales are considered final unless otherwise stated.

  • No returns or exchanges for buyer’s remorse, condition disagreements, or market fluctuations
  • If an incorrect item is received, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with supporting evidence

5. PSA Submission Service

  • Standard submission pricing begins at $29 CAD + tax per card
  • Bulk submissions (30+ cards) are priced at $28.50 CAD + tax per card
  • Turnaround times are estimates and depend entirely on PSA processing and shipping timelines

By submitting cards through our service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • We act solely as an intermediary between you and PSA
  • We are not responsible for grading outcomes or changes in card value
  • We are not liable for delays, loss, or damage once items are in transit to or from PSA

6. Events & In-Store Conduct

Participation in store events, trade nights, and promotions is subject to staff direction and store rules.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service or remove individuals for disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior
  • Participants engage in trades and transactions at their own discretion and risk

7. Risk & Liability

  • Vulcan Collectibles is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought into the store
  • All trades, submissions, and third-party interactions are conducted at your own risk
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the applicable product or service

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge that all transactions are subject to our store policies.

  • Customers must contact us directly to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback or dispute
  • We reserve the right to provide evidence to financial institutions, including order confirmation, tracking information, delivery confirmation, and communication records
  • Initiating a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue may be considered a violation of these Terms

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse future service to customers who file unjustified disputes
  • Recover any fees, costs, or losses incurred as a result of fraudulent or abusive chargebacks where permitted by law

9. Privacy

We collect and use personal information only as necessary to process orders, provide services, and communicate with customers.

We do not sell personal information to third parties. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and any transactions conducted through Vulcan Collectibles are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

11. Binding Agreement

By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions, along with our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy
  • This constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Vulcan Collectibles
  • Electronic acceptance of these Terms has the same legal effect as a written signature

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available in-store and on our website.
